Louis takes on Paris Marathon challenge to raise money for Dementia UK

Louis Seymour, our Director will be running his first marathon, on 13 April 2025 in Paris. Louis will be raising funds for Dementia UK.

The race across Paris is 42,195 km (26 miles and 385 yards) long. Starting at the Arc de Triomphe and taking in many of Paris’ well-known landmarks along the way.

Louis comments, “Working for Compass CHC, we speak to families affected by dementia every day. Today there are around 944,000 people living with dementia. I wanted to raise money for Dementia UK as they provide free, life-changing support to anyone affected by dementia.”

“I’m absolutely loving the training so far! Currently my longer runs are nine miles at an eight minute/mile pace and whilst this may seem quite fast, my training partner (my lovely rescue dog, Kallie) is hardly breaking a stride! I am so excited to take on this challenge and incredibly proud to represent and raise money to support those living with this heartbreaking disease.”

Good luck Louis! If you’d like to donate, please go to Louis’ JustGiving fundraising page.
