We were very pleased with the financial settlement following the appeal but equally appreciative of the opportunity to speak with NHS England. We felt truly respected and listened to with kindness and empathy from the panel. For the first time in the whole process, we felt that our mothers pain and distress was actually acknowledged. This was so helpful and has enabled us to feel that we have acted wisely and with justification in making the appeal. This successful outcome has finally enabled us to move on and put unpleasant memories behind us.
