Compass CHC management promotions to address continued growth

Compass CHC have today announced a change to its senior management team as the business addresses its continued expansion and the additional demands placed on it as a result of the crisis in the care sector and the increasing demands for its expertise.

Richard Lewis has been appointed as Compass CHC’s Managing Director from 1 January 2023, succeeding the founder of the business, Tim Davies, in this role.  Tim has commenced in his new role as the Chief Executive Officer.

As Managing Director Richard will oversee the day to day running of the business and its operations and implement the strategy and vision to 2024 and beyond.  Speaking on his new role Richard said:

“I am delighted to be entrusted with the responsibility to oversee Compass CHC and its continued growth on a day to day basis.  The work the business undertakes is so important in assisting individuals in securing continuing healthcare funding to meet the cost of their care.  The financial implications to patients and their families of this funding being incorrectly denied can be devastating and to be playing a key role steering the business that ensures that funding is provided to an individual where they are entitled to it is exceptionally satisfying.

Richard joined Compass CHC in 2015 having previously operated in the financial services industry.  He quickly progressed to the role of Director and has accumulated an unparalleled knowledge of the complexities of continuing healthcare funding.

Tim Davies, the founder of Compass CHC and new Chief Executive commented:

I am immensely proud of the strong foundations created by my team over the last 8 years. Sadly, the issues identified in respect of continuing healthcare funding and the need for experts to assist in navigating it has only grown since the formation of the business in 2014.  With a crisis in the care sector and costs of care now reaching in excess of £2000 a week it is more imperative than ever that if an individual is entitled to continuing healthcare funding to meet their care costs they should receive it.  Our experience and that of our clients is that it is not being provided where it should be and this is why the demand for our services increases on an annual basis.

Richard is a fantastic and dedicated leader and I am delighted he has accepted the role of Managing Director.  I have no doubt he is the right person for the role in taking our business forward into 2023 and beyond.  I look forward to working alongside him and our board of Directors in the new role of Chief Executive”
